Autocycle are a growing tyre recycling business located in Altona in Victoria. When we started working with them the first thing we did was conduct and audit of all their waste streams to truly understand their waste profile: General waste, recycling, plastics and rubber from tyres.
A bin was provided for each waste stream with service levels and frequencies determined by each waste type.
A significant proportion of their waste was diverted from landfill using this process. Partnering with a waste to energy outlet, we now send all of their rubber by product from their tyres for recycling.
The solution was seamless and quickly implemented saving Autocycle time and money.
